I had three week stay in Japan. It was pretty fun and productive because I
- met 120 people, both work-related and friends.
- talked on the phone with about 50 people, again both work-related and friends.
- got headhunted by a couple of companies and associations
- had a variety of mouth-waterining Japanese food
- saw fully bloomed cherry blossoms
- made sure of firm connection with people in media, travel industry and government.
- spend quality time with my family
It is good to have "insurance" (some options of job opportunities) so that I can challenge here in San Diego.
Here I will post some of the pictures from Japan. I hope you can imagine how it feels like to have a picnic under this snow-like cherry blossoms.
Sakura (cherry blossoms) and Fukuoka Tower.
This city Fukuoka is one of Japan's biggest cities. It is selected as Asia's best city by Newsweek. It has also been voted as world's best shopping city.
With the city's population of 1.3 million, beaches and mountains, there are a lot in common with San Diego (city's population is 1.2 million).
