My Favorite Vegan Restaurant Loving Hut

Loving Hut is the place I go when I want something healthy yet satisfying. I go to the one on El Cajon, but there is one in Mira Mesa also.

Jack Fruit Salad

The food here is Vietnamese-inspired. I never tried jack fruit until I tried here. I like how they season the salad. Sweet and sour.

Lucky Chow Mien

Vegan means no meat, no dairy. Even this noodle does not contain egg, yet tastes great. And the beef-looking dark ones are not meat either, imitation beef. It is made out of soy, kind of like tofu, but the texture is like meat. Again, tastes awesome.

Lucky Lemon Grass

This is another favorite dish. Lemon grass does such a wonderful job. Again, the chicken-looking thing is made out of soy, I think.

My first visit was back in 2009, my pretty ex-coworker J took me during lunch hour. She is a vegan and her favorite was pho. I am not vegan or vegetarian and I like regular pho. Now she is an independent social media specialist. Should get back in touch with people...
